SGA CLUB TRAINING, GRADING & AWARDS NIGHT!

We wish to invite ALL Summit Grappling Academy members and their families to share our special weekend with us!

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE OF CHARGE, INCLUDING A HOT MEAL AT THE AWARDS NIGHT!!

We only ask for you to register so that we can ensure mat safety and catering numbers.

The training and grading sessions are a jiu-jitsu class for all our members no matter what age or ability, with stripes and belt promotions at the end of the sessions - all members from all classes are encouraged to attend. Our visiting black belts will coach alongside the SGA coaching team for a fun session. A great opportunity to enjoy learning jiu-jitsu with the team, to receive a promotion or to support your teammates and friends in receiving their promotions!

There are two sessions - Under 15s and Over 15s.

Parents/families can attend to watch the grading sessions without registering to spectate, however all individuals should register for the awards night to allow for catering to be arranged.

Please wear SGA uniform for the grading sessions - if you do not have kit please obtain via www.thegrapplestore.com or ask a friend to lend you some!

Please also ensure belts are clean and current stripes are up to date!

Order of events:

6.00pm Friday 2 January - Ladies' training session with third degree black belt Vanessa English

10.00am Saturday 3 January - Under 15 years of age training & grading session with third degree black belts Kevin Ayre & Vanessa English

11.30am Saturday 3 January - CLUB PHOTO - everyone is encouraged to attend in SGA uniform to be included in this, even if you can't make the grading sessions (please make sure you're kitted and ready for this time!)

11.30am Saturday 3 January - Adults and teens over 15 years of age, mixed gi & nogi training & grading session with Vanessa English & Kevin Ayre

6.00pm Saturday 3 January - Awards evening including a hot buffet with dessert, a raffle, music and dancing and awards presentation for the following categories:

• Most Improved Mini Grappler
• Most Improved Little Grappler
• Most Improved Junior
• Most Improved Teen
• Most Improved Adult
• Richie Lloyd Judo Award
• Paul Rimmer Next Generation MMA Award
• Outstanding Junior Squad Competitor
• Outstanding Senior Squad Competitor

Dress code is smart.

This always promises to be a fun evening with award nominees and the winners of the awards being announced! 

Raffle tickets are available to purchase with your free tickets, they can also be purchased from the academy and on the night!
